Diva De Bellagosca: a puppy we kept from our first litter of pups from Ticho and Xena. Diva has an excellent temperament and loves being around children having grown up with our youngest daughter. Our wonderful 'show girl' has made us all very proud and her accomplishments in the show world are a great testament to her parents. Diva has had major wins in her show career : She is the winner of 2 Monografica's: Winning in Spain and Holland. A monografica is a club match with many entrants and it carries a great prestige to win in such expositions. France does not have a monografica as such but they have 2 large club match expositions. There is a regional club match held in Olhain and in Argeles- Gazost. In Olhain Diva won best female and in Argeles she won her first club match at 8 months of age with the added title of BEST OF BREED. She got off to a flying start and didn't really stop!!!
THE FOLLOWING ACHIEVEMENTS ( Wonderful memories to treasure )
1. In Argeles- Gazost, France. Taking Best of Breed at the tender age of 8 months and having to compete against champions. Judging was by the President of the French club.
2. In Spain, XXX Monografica. Gaining the title of Best Female and CAC, in the Spanish clubmatch. This is a phenomenal win for her. Judging by President of the Spanish club. She is the first foreign bred Gos to ever achieve CAC in the Monografica.
3. Competing in the Denmark World Dog Show and winning the title of World Youth Champion.
A special moment for us was in Dortmund when Diva won the Europasieger Best Youth Female, and she won it standing next to her brother, Braco De Bellagosca as he took the title of Best Youth Male.
4. Winning the Spanish Monografica and gaining CAC and best female. The win in her home country in the Dutch Monografica.
As the English saying goes. " Watch this space ".!!!!
SHEEP HERDING/ Training. Diva is enjoying her time when she is training with the sheep. She has a very calm temperament and herds with confidence. In our pack she is the divider and peace maker and keeps the other dogs in check and will always step in quietly, no noise or growl and stops a disagreement between our dogs before it gets out of hand. All in all she is a very confident little female that rules and stands above the others with simply her presence and quiet manner.
